Welcome!  Thanks for stopping by Staying Positive in Pittsburgh.  We’re a group of young adults and our friends who have found ourselves in a life-long battle with HIV/AIDS.  All to frequently the struggle may seem to difficult to endure and so we find comfort in knowing that there are others living with this disease and strength through those people who love and support us.

It can be hard to find peace, hope, and understanding when your life has become affected by HIV/AIDS, but we still must keep focused and stay positive.  Your privacy is always respected and we do hope to provide a safe and open social environment where you feel comfortable.

Our goal is to form a network among our peers and celebrate life at any given opportunity.  We hope to provide a feeling of inclusion and peer support that we have personally found elsewhere in our lives.  All young adults who have or are affected by HIV and would like to build a network of friends are welcome to join us at any event.

If you and/or your friends would like to recommend a venue, event, or other function that our members may enjoy, please let us know.  Any and all ideas are appreciated and welcome.

We envision reducing and ultimately ending the stigma and barriers associated with HIV/AIDS.
